EDI Support Analyst
Our successful, well renowned and genuine market leading client are looking for an enthusiastic EDI Support Analyst to join their team urgently on a contract basis, initially for 3/6 months. The EDI Support Analyst will be responsible for providing EDI expertise and through facilitating EDI with our client's key partners. This is a technical role and in parallel to the daily support requests from the business, there are active projects to migrate to an IBM B2Bi platform, implement VIM using EDI and ASN with Vendors.
EDI Support Analyst - Key Skills:
* At least 2 to 3 years of experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, version 5.X or higher with Application Integrator Mapper and Business Processes
* Comprehensive experience mapping ANSI X12, EDIFACT, TRADACOMS, and XML formats.
* Comprehensive experience analysing and troubleshooting system issues, processes, and EDI document related issues.
* Intermediate experience with trading partnership administration.
* Intermediate experience with data/workflow administration.
* Intermediate experience working with VANs and troubleshooting communication issues.
* Intermediate Knowledge of various communication protocols such as FTP and AS2 Protocols.
* Intermediate Knowledge of ANSI x12 transaction sets 850,875,856,810,880,812,820,882,830,852,997.
* A familiarity of SAP and the sources of Master Data would be very helpful.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
EDI Support Analyst - Responsibilities:
* Resolve production support issues generated through Help Desk tickets, received via email, or via telephone.
* Monitor error messages and work with internal functional areas when required to resolve EDI related issues.
* Troubleshoot data or mapping errors within the B2Bi environment.
* Work with external trading partners and internal functional areas in order to thoroughly understand their EDI requirements.
* Gather requirements, develop functional specifications, develop code/maps, and test EDI requirements in order to meet EDI requirements and their deadlines.
* Participate in the development and maintenance of EDI initiatives.
* Effectively collaborate with various teams to partner in creating and executing test plans for new implementations and identifying business process gaps where improvements can be made.
