As a front office java developer you will join a global investment bank supporting their award winning traders.

As a part of the fixed income team you will be using some of the cutting edge technology developing and integrating new front office tools within their real time infrastructure.

Ideally previous experience working in a financial firm within fixed income, credit and rates would be beneficial but not essential.

Your stakeholders will be senior business managers, traders and other developers. Strong communication and analytic skills are therefore required.

What do you need?

* Strong Java Skills

* 1-4 years development experience

* Strong database experience - Oracle or Sybase

* Real interest in technology and developing your skill set

* Strong educational background

As a front office java developer you will join a team of 3 experienced developers, as you work on projects which add value to the business. Also giving you the ability to learn new technologies and implement them into future projects.

Working across an array of different platforms such as credit rates and bond and trading you will gain unrivalled business knowledge, whilst having the ability to learn new technologies.
