A market leading organisation are seeking a Software Engineer to join their site near Edinburgh. Do you have knowledge of C/C++? If so, then you could be the Software Engineer we're looking for.

What will you be doing?

As Software Engineer, you will work on the development and implementation of high performance device drivers across multiple platforms. Working as part of the software team, you will have the ability to enable host devices to communicate with company hardware. In addition to this, you will assist in system level integration and the development of supporting tools and applications.

What skills should you have?

* Bachelors, Masters or PhD in a relevant engineering discipline such as electronics engineering or computing science

* Knowledge of C and C++

* Knowledge of windows device drivers and networking framework

* Experience working with Linux kernel architecture, module development and kernel customisation

* Knowledge of MacOS kernel extensions development

* Knowledge of layer 2 network protocols and USB protocol
