Software Development Manager (Big Data, ElasticSearch/Solr)

We are seeking a Software Development Manager (Big Data, ElasticSearch/Solr) for our market-leading Oxford-based company, helping a number of researchers, academics and academic institutions all around the world in a number of different ways. We are looking for a Software Development Manager who is passionate in joining us as we push forward in the areas of Artificial Intelligence; Searching Technology (in particular ElasticSearch or Solr) and of Machine Learning. We want to bring on a Software Development Manager who is an advocate of Software Engineering best Practices, who places quality of Software above all - we are looking for someone with experience in Test Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration etc.

As a Software Development Manager, you will be working very closely with the Software Engineering Team and the Machine Learning and Search Technology teams on an international level; pushing forward innovation and product/platform development. As a Software Development Manager in our company you will be working on a number of business-critical high profile projects which with the promise of strong career progression.
