Junior Web Developer

My client, based in Cambridge is a leading supplier of software and system solutions to the transport industry both in the UK and Europe and they now require a Junior developer to join their team.

The role as Software Engineer is an integral part of the company to strengthen the mobile and web development expertise within its established team.

They are a small organisation, but have a fantastic office culture and vibe. And because of the nature of being small you will have the possibility to make a huge impact.

As a Software Engineer your responsibilities will include:

? Working in all areas of the technology stack, utilising your existing skills whilst developing any new skills you need to ensure you remain at the forefront of your profession

? Taking features from the early specification stage through to design and implementation

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

? Degree in computer science or equivalent relevant technical subject

? Experience developing mobile aware web applications in a commercial environment using client side technologies such as HTML 5, JavaScript, CSS, Angular, JQuery etc.

? Have worked within a similar IT, web developer role

? Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

Any of the following skills would also be advantageous:

? Experience developing enterprise class applications in a Windows environment using technologies such as MFC, C++ and MS SQL Server
