.NET Developer

ASP.NET MVC / Manchester / Up to £47k salary

An exciting and growing business are looking for multiple .Net Developers (C#/ASP.NET MVC) to join their talented AGILE Software Development team based in their Manchester office.

Due to the success of their business they currently have a massive recruitment drive to employ experienced C# .Net Developers with MVC experience as their ethos is focused on their Software Development (.Net) team and IT function being critical to their continued business growth of the software product.

Based in the heart of Manchester (centre/north side of the city) this business provides consultative Outsourcing services and solutions to Enterprise sized business right through to SME's which spans across all sectors of industries.

Ideally looking for technically driven and focused .Net Developers (Mid level, Senior roles available) with commercial experience of using C# and MVC. You will be working as part of a supportive and collaborative .Net (4.5) Software Development team that uses the latest Microsoft Stack.

The .Net developer will be involved with all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle from requirements gathering through to implementation. The .Net Developer will also be developing, testing and deploying secure client portals using technologies and tools such as .NET 4.5, C#, ASP.NET MVC and SQL.

Skills and Requirements:

* 3+ years commercial experience within software development using Microsoft Technologies

* Extensive experience with C# (ideally, or VB.NET)

* Good knowledge and experience with ASP.NET MVC techniques (will consider people who have developed only WebForm applications)

* SQL Server

Desirable skills:

* Working experience on cloud based projects

* Basic SQL or MySQL Development experience

* Any JavaScript and JS libraries (including Angular.js)

* Familiarity of working to and using AGILE methodologies including TDD, BDD, Continuous Integration etc…
