Do you have the ability to engage with complex and ambitious reform agendas to deliver change? If you do, we want to hear from you.

The Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) is the lead regulator for higher education in England and is responsible for distributing nearly £3.7 billion a year for teaching and research in universities and colleges. Our mission is to create and sustain the conditions for a world-leading higher education system.

The Higher Education and Research Act 2017 will establish a new market regulator of HE in England - the Office for Students (OfS) on 1 April 2018. OfS will take over the current responsibilities of HEFCE and establish a new risk-based regulatory framework.

There are two exciting opportunities for experienced and self-motivated candidates to support senior staff in HEFCE`s current Regulation and Assurance Directorate and within DfE on the development and transition to new regulatory processes under the OfS.

To succeed in these roles, you will have excellent project management skills and a confident and positive approach. You will be able to work effectively with others at all levels to deliver change using your detailed knowledge to contribute to policy and process development in a fast moving environment. You will need to work flexibly and be proactive in solving problems to meet challenging deadlines. Experience of higher education or other regulatory body experience would be an advantage.

If you have these qualities and experience and would relish the opportunity to take on this exciting role then we would very much like to hear from you.

The posts are full-time, on a fixed term basis until March 2019.

Closing date: 23:55pm on the 4th June 2017.
