Senior Drupal Developer - PHP Scripts, SOAP, XML SQL Server - 3 months - Edinburgh £450 - £550 per day

The Company

Spring Technology's public sector client is currently undergoing a substantial piece of work requiring a Senior Drupal Developer.

The Role:

Senior Drupal Developer

As a Senior Developer you will be responsible for decoupling a backend database and developing a custom Drupal module to take over from the existing PHP scripts.

Essential Experience

*Develop custom Drupal modules to take over from existing PHP scripts

*Use SOAP and XML for importing external sources

*Ability to understand existing data import mechanism - SQL Server/Access

*You will have proven success in systems analyst or design role

*Extensive hands-on Drupal development experience

*Experience working in an Agile development environment

*Ability to interact with non-technical staff and deliver high level documentation

Desirable Experience

*Understanding of other web languages

*Code management knowledge eg version control, release management

*Automated deployment tools eg bamboo

*Knowledge of UK legislative requirements
