FPGA Design Engineer - Scotland

Salary upon experience + excellent package

This is an outstanding opportunity for a FPGA Design Engineer to join a world-class electronics design centre in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Our client is renowned for engineering excellence in FPGA-based IP core development. They are expanding their R&D centre in Edinburgh to address the new challenges of 5G wireless, very high speed wired communications and machine learning. It's a superb chance to work on some of the world's most advanced technology for market-led applications.

As the successful FPGA Designer you will join a team developing digital signal processing cores for next generation FPGAs.

The ideal candidate will be degree qualified (BSc / MSc / PhD Electronic Engineering or similar) with experience in the following:

*Digital FPGA or ASIC design and simulation using VHDL / Verilog

*Synthesis and timing analysis

*Prior experience of DSP implementation in FPGA would be beneficial

*Experience with C/C++ programming would be useful, but not essential.
