My client based in Edinburgh has an immediate requirement for a Developer in Test. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a nationally recognised client on an initial 6 month contract, with the possibility of extensions.

Key Skills & Background

* In-depth knowledge of BDD, TDD and manual testing.

* Skilled in one or more programming languages Java, JavaScript ,PHP, Python.

* REST / SOAP and API test automation.

* Experience in developing reliable test automation at levels.

* Experience of Continuous Deliver tools such as Jenkins or Bamboo.

* Knowledge of test automation strategies.

* Experience of AGILE project methodology.

* Knowledge of JIRA.

* Knowledge of cloud selenium grid providers such as SauceLabs or BrowserStack.

Further Details

* Fix bugs in production code.

* Setup continuous delivery pipelines to trigger test automation.

* Implement strategies to prevent defects.

* Manage the shared testing approach within agile teams.

* Collaborate with DevOps to build and maintain release pipelines.
