Support Project Management by owning Schedule Development, Maintenance, Monitoring and Recovery plan development activities. Support/Perform project organisational administrative activities. Demonstrate skill in identifying, analysing, and providing innovative solutions to planning and scheduling problems. Provide generally non-routine scheduling guidance to projects.

Have a minimum of 2-3 years of demonstrated experience of delivering high standard Schedule Management functions with defence or industry.

Need Knowledge/Awareness of:

1. Procedures for Schedule Management and associated supporting documentation.

2. The concepts of Schedule Management.

3. Different methods and techniques for task identification.

4. How to identify, categorise, describe, evaluate and prioritise tasks.

5. ARM, @Risk, Predict! and Primavera Risk Analysis risk management and analysis software tools

6. Estimating, Cost Engineering, Planning and Risk.

7. Development of budgets and forecasts for capital investment business case approvals, operational expenditures, and general expenses.

8. Financial; Commercial; Engineering and Procurement processes.

Likely Activities:

1. Assist teams to development, maintain and monitor Project Plans in line with agreed Schedule Management policies and procedures.

2. Integrate team schedules and supporting data in the project plan.

3. Maintain, monitor and review the Project plan and rebaseline as required.

4. Escalate deviations from the Project plan and report to the Project Manager for recovery actions. Update the schedule with the directed recovery actions with team input.

5. Verify that schedules are realistic and that available resources are capable of meeting the project objectives and specification of requirements.

6. Monitor that resources are available and can be deployed in a timely manner.

7. Monitor progress to ensure that any departures from the schedule are identified promptly.

8. Apply progress measurement methods that are hierarchically linked reflecting the Project's lower level database and higher-level time base scheduling systems.

9. Assess identified departures from the schedule and establish the likely consequences on scope, phasing and logic work sequence.

10. Apply analysis and reasoning to the variances and notify management/stakeholders with associated recommendations.

11. Maintain an audit, issue progress reports, schedule updates and productivity data on a regular basis and as requested by management and stakeholders.
