Mechanical Project Engineer (Design)

£40,000 - £50,000 + up to a 10% pension scheme + Profit share scheme + Company benefits

Northampton, Northamptonshire (Must live a commutable distance to Northampton)

Are you a Mechanical Project Engineer with experience in design looking for the opportunity to train on advanced equipment and control specialist, niche engineering development projects?

On offer is the opportunity to take control of cutting-edge bespoke projects from the concept and planning stage right through to testing and completion.

This role would suit a Mechanical Design Engineer or Project Engineer or Project Manager or Research and Development Engineer looking for full industry training and have long term development options to progress as a Senior Project Manager.

The role:

* Lead mechanical engineering design on a range of projects (from plans to testing)

* Applied Engineering and Mathematics including technical calculations either by hand, or by using company and commercial software

* Create project documentation (Functional Design specifications, procurement specifications and Acceptance Test procedures) - full training provided

The Person:

* Project Engineer or Mechanical Engineer or Project Manager Or Research and Development Engineer or similar

* Experience with mechanical calculations and applied engineering

* Engineering degree - Mechanical or similar

* Re-locators will not be considered for this position.
