My client, a Leading Investment Bank, are looking to hire an experienced project management professional to join their team. This is a Data focussed team who maintain, distribute, and report on Institutional Securities trading data. It is also responsible for developing and supporting applications for middle-office cash processing that facilitate straight-through processing and providing client allocation tools.

The project management office collaborates with technology project owners to coordinate plans, communicate with stakeholders, and ensure central technology process and reporting requirements are met. Team members also work with department heads to manage budget process tasks as they pertain to project cost and manpower requirements. The scope of the role necessitates a proactive candidate who is diligent, comfortable dealing with large volumes of data, and thrives in an environment of change.

Role responsibilities will include:

* Creating, tracking and updating project plans

* Ensuring project compliance with Technology and SDLC policy

* Generating project status reports

* Monitoring project financials and resource utilization

* Escalation of project issues/risks and changes to RAG statuses

* Working with other project managers to ensure accurate and consistent communication across the overall portfolio

* Communicating with development teams and stakeholders on project related issues, status and metrics

Technical skills:

* 3-5 years in Project Management

* Proficiency with the MS Office suite of applications, particularly MS Project and MS Excel

* Experience with HP PPM, SharePoint and JIRA is preferred
