Application Support Analyst (Oracle PL/SQL) - A brand new career opportunity has just become available for a forward-thinking Application Support Analyst (Oracle PL/SQL) to join our hugely successful market leading company based in our impressive Head Offices in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire during another huge period of expansion for our £billion turnover organisation.

The successful Application Support Analyst (Oracle PL/SQL) will join our hugely skilled team as they continue to work to provide technical administration for our Revenue Management System. As well as testing new developments (both web and application) for robustness and accuracy the Application Support Analyst (Oracle PL/SQL) will take ownership of support issues which could include initial logging, prioritisation, escalation and resolution, keeping colleagues informed all the way.

As the Application Support Analyst (Oracle PL/SQL) you will also support our internal users with queries and issues and will therefore have to show strong internal customer management skills.

Skills needed for the Application Support Analyst (Oracle PL/SQL) role:

* Proficient in Linux BASH shell scripting

* Experienced in developing using Oracle PL/SQL

* Familiar with multi-tier web applications

* Experienced in using analytical skills to forward-plan and to make effective, prioritised and timely operational decisions.

* An excellent communicator, both written and verbal, knowing which type of communication fits the task at hand.

This is a role that will enable the successful Application Support Analyst (Oracle PL/SQL) to work with a wide range of dynamic professionals in a vibrant and friendly office.

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + bonus & benefits.

Location: Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire.
