Technical Business Architect

Summary of Role:

* Lead a team supporting the delivery of new and upgraded business capabilities through the provision of robust and fit for purpose technology services.

* Work closely with our EA to ensure new services, and enhancements to existing services, are compliant with policies and principles (Target Architecture).

* Ensure services, websites and apps are up to date and in-line with relevant best practice guidelines and standards.

* Influence roadmaps for moving existing services to target architecture.

* Influence how required business capabilities can and should be delivered.

* Build relationships with key suppliers, using strong stakeholder management and communication skills to work with and, where appropriate, challenge the delivery of new and updated technology services.

* Work closely with Service Delivery Managers to ensure maximum system availability, reliability and performance.

* Provide web and smartphone technology expertise to Technology Services.

Technical/Commercial Experience:

* Business Architecture principles.

* Application product management.

* Present information in a confident manner and deal with contentious technical issues.

* Clearly communicate complex technical information to a broad range of staff, customers & stakeholders.

* Work collaboratively, sharing information and building relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.

* Excellent written and spoken English.

* Methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma

* Web development & web administration.

* Configuration of cloud hosting and Dev Ops.
