IT Solutions Technical Lead - Data - NOSQL / LINUX / SAP - £40,000 - Nottinghamshire

This is an opportunity to join the IT team a new role at during an exciting period within the company where they are in the middle of a journey to embed data across the business.

You will be responsible for supporting data platforms and their related integration to enable the business to bring together its core data. You will be required to work with the business and IT leaders to define the strategic and tactical data requirements to fulfil business potential as well as developing the existing data framework to continue to meet the clients requirements of digital platforms and road maps.

Essential requirements:

·Advanced analytical experience across disciplines and applications

·Proven experience in interrogating databases warehouses

·Strong communicator and influencer with business teams & downstream support partners

·Ability to provide vision and innovation related to data platforms and strategy

·Passion for data quality and constant improvement

·Excellent organizational and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail

·Proactive and Self-starter.

·Presentation and Documentation skills

Desirable requirements:

·A degree or equivalent in Computer Science or technical related subject

·Exposure to NoSQL database technologies and big data platforms

·QlikView Administration and Development

·Attivio Intelligence Engine (AIE) Experience (Linux, JAVA)

·Information Data security experience

·Experience in data transfer protocols and methodology

·SAP Business Objects Xi administration and development experience

·Prior work experience in Hospitality and/or Travel Industry

·Experience of cloud hosted data solutions in particular Amazon Web Services
