Contract Project Manager, Utilities, Cheshire

Supporting an Engineering & Utilities company with offices in North Cheshire, I am looking for a Contract Project Manager to start in mid- June, we have interview slots for next week,

The role will last for a minimum of 7 months, with likely extensions. The rates on offer as set by the client is up to £265 per day. As the Project Manager you will bring demonstrable project experience, project delivery experience, and commercial skills to the team. Working closely with the Contracts Manager & the Construction & Commissioning Managers, the Project Manager will ensure that all services are delivered to meet internal and client requirements in a cost effective manner to help the business to achieve a successful delivery.

You will be involved in to a range of challenging projects with both technical and commercial. Some of the typical tasks will include:

* Manage a team of 10-20 with split of disciplines

* Create T&C's for niche and specific contract negotiations

* Software development, instrumentation, PLC and SCADA development- Support challenging problem resolution across multiple technical areas

* Create and modify company processes and produce templates

* Work with & Mentor team members to improve team work, efficiency's and ensuring deadlines are hit

* Work with customer building relationships, generating future business

* Create technical proposals based on customer needs

Please note we are looking for a candidate who Hands on, used to running small to medium projects (typically 50k - £500,0000 .

You will have come from a Water, Utilities or Process background.
