Senior Project Manager - Up to £70k
My client is looking for a Senior Project Manager to take both leadership and ownership of the complete project life cycle and successfully implement the business requirements. Some travel required to other UK sites and occasional visits to non-UK locations.
Responsibilities
* Ownership of the Trade systems project roadmap
* Ensure all elements which will allow for full, effective project delivery are established
* Resources are regularly evaluated to determine feasibility and time constraints
* Project roadmap is regularly communicated to necessary stakeholders
* Potential shortfalls are identified at the earliest opportunity for appropriate action to be taken
* Establish and maintain secure working relationships with relevant stakeholders
* Regular review of client methodology to assess its fit for purpose and ensure that recommendations are made for improvement to the Programme Manager
* Responsibility for all project planning tools across all Trade systems
* Expected to fulfil a Project Manager role in addition to senior responsibilities as above
Experience
* Detailed project planning
* Experience with all project management tools
* Capture appropriate levels of details
* Tangible experience with project planning principles i.e. critical paths, levelling, deadlines, baselines, milestones etc.
* Resource demand management
* Budgetary control i.e. the clients CAPEX process
