ERP / AX, Business Analyst - IS Department, Halifax

The Client,

With a heritage spanning over 100 years, my client are a UK leading manufacturer supplying to the construction, home improvement and landscaping markets. Offering a huge range of products, design services, technical expertise and inspiration, this business allows their customers to transform public and private landscapes.

Currently their IT department supports the whole of the business group operating on the ERP solution Dynamics AX. The in house team are all very experienced IT professionals allowing them to previously perform an entire system upgrade from AX4.0 to AX2009 and they are now involved in an upgrade to AX2012 without the use of 3rd party partners.

The Role,

*My client is looking for an experienced ERP implementation consultant with the self-motivation and communication skills to work with the business to deliver true business benefits from IT systems.

*A key part of your role will be to go out and meet with the various business units to assess their requirements and then work with the development team to deliver them.

*Dealing with a wide range of projects from small changes to full ERP implementations in new acquisitions. As a senior business analyst you will be working with a team on a mix of large and small projects, some as a project manager.

Technical Skills

*Minimum 5 years ERP / AX experience is critical for this role. extensive training will be given to the right candidate.

*Expertise in one or more of the following areas; manufacturing, sales, planning, or purchasing.

*Knowledge of a Project Management methodology and experience managing projects.

*Experience of analysing business problems and producing functional specifications

*Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
