Bank of America's Derivatives Clearing is a growing business area requiring comprehensive oversight of industry leading Clearing Technology project deliverables. Projects range from global change initiatives through large and small regional initiatives spanning both the Exchange Traded Derivatives (ETD) as well as Over the Counter (OTC) Lines of Business. Support of existing applications is also required in partnership with defined partners, and the ideal candidate will provide subject matter expertise to ensure continued good service on legacy processing as well as lead strategic initiatives in best practices.

As the Regional Team Lead your main responsibilities will include:

* Performing the role of Regional Team Lead for GMI and related clearing technologies leveraging the GMI iSeries foundation.

* Providing technical oversight of the analysis, development and support of the LDO vendor application GMI and associated AS/400 in-house applications and act as a team lead/manager for a group of several developers and analysts.

* Direct clients will span Front and Middle Office, and various Operations groups including Client Services, Clearing, Margining, and Collateral among others.

* There will also be significant interaction with colleagues in Regulatory Reporting roles and externally with Exchanges, Vendors and other IT groups.

* Oversee deliveries to any location globally. The majority of efforts will be concentrated on the iSeries platform with a portfolio of applications, chief amongst them GMI.

* Understand and contribute to the strategic direction of the group while being pragmatic with the solutions proposed and implemented.

* Working with all phases of the development lifecycle and must be able to contribute to medium/large projects or multiple small projects concurrently.

As the Regional Team Lead your essential skills will include:

* Experienced Business Analyst within the technology space

* A background in GMI

* Project Management experience

* Knowledge of Product Control and Financial Control functions

* Experienced in Listed derivatives and Over the Counter clearing and settlement systems

* A strong background in the Vendor GMI application

* Self-driven, confident, strategic but pragmatic, good communicator and team player

* Ability to work without close supervision, yet to rigid timescales

* Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills, with a proven ability to work with diverse people from multiple disciplines across multiple time zones and at all levels of seniority

* Experience in Investment Banking
