Test Analyst

My client, a large insurance organisation, are looking to recruit a Test Analyst on a permanent basis. The Test Analyst will ensure that systems developed are fully tested and meet the high standards of quality expected by the business. As the Test Analyst you will be working as part of the Systems Testing Team applying software development testing skills to ensure the successful launch of products and/or services, continuously improving testing by driving a test-first mindset - working closely with the Developers and Business Systems Analyst using agile software development principles.

Key Experience:

* No less than 2 years' experience within a software testing role

* Manual testing experince in a large scale commercial environment

* Understanding of Agile development practices

* Knowledge of the full software development and testing lifecycle

* Experience of using issue tracking and test management tools

* Experience identifying and reporting defects and using de-bugging tools

* Ability to work with the team of Developers, Business Systems Analyst and Project Manager to translate user requirements into testable acceptance criteria

* Experience using analytical and technical skills to produce/read/script/debug for developers to verify defects

* Ability to work effectively leading or as part of team to meet challenging operational datelines and to communicate the outcomes of testing effectively

* Experience communicating at all levels and to produce clear and concise reports

* A passion for technology and quality products
