Our Client is currently seeks a Test Manager - BFSI to join our team in Dublin, Ireland

Role

* Deliver, manage & drive best-practice defect management within the scope of the project Test Domain

* Manage the tooling setup to support the agreed defect management process and associated reporting/metrics

* Proactively manage, QA, communicate, report, and drive relevant mitigation of all defects, as early as possible

* Minimise defect risk, wherever possible, both for the PROJECT programme and the bank in general

* Support in the provision of a high quality Defect Management Process & tool solution legacy aligned for re-use in the bank within the current project delivery methodology Framework

Activities

* Defect management of all phases within scope of the PROJECT test domain

* Manage defects inherited from individual build / test teams prior to SIT

* Manage all defect identified in SIT Core, SIT E2E, UAT, Performance, Security & NFT Infra/App test phases

* Define & manage the Defect Management Process (DMP) and approach

* Manage the setup of the DMP tool solution (via HP ALM / Jira)

* QA all new defects and defects ready for closure / deferment

* Chair all defect-related meetings / triages / stand-ups

* Manage the RAID log for entries relating to Defect Management

* Engage with the relevant stakeholders for all DMP-related activities

* Manage and drive all defects to closure or deferment

* Manage delivery & communication of all defect-related reports & metrics

* Manage & deliver Continuous Improvement (CI) to the DMP

* Report to Test QA Governance Lead

Mandatory Skills

* BFSI Experience

* Defect management tool, preferably both ALM and Jira

* Agile Defect Management Exposure

* Strong stakeholder management

* Excellent communication Skills
