IT Programme Manager

Our client consists of a wide variety of luxury brands within the retail industry and are responsible for delivering activities in over 30 countries globally. They are looking for an IT Programme Manager to define and deliver several cross functional programmes. The main responsibility will be to ensure that the programmes adds continuous value to the business and aligns with their objectives.

Responsibilities

* Maintaining relationships and communication with all key stakeholders and suppliers to overcome any potential conflicts and identify benefits to add value to the business

* Develop and maintains relationships with senior levels of staff

* Leads the functional programme team and ensures they perform against requirements

* Manage programme with best effort to minimise disruption to people and project delivery

* Reports to appropriate governance individuals as required with the programme status, plans, issues etc.

* Manages closure of the programme and implements this back into the business as usual

Knowledge and Skills

* A relevant management/programme planning qualification or equivalent

* Professional degree or industry specific experience

* Experience within a senior position with understanding of more than one project management method

* Excellent communication and network building skills

* Ability to run several projects simultaneously

* Ability to identify and resolve any risks or issues

* Experience working against time constraints and delivering quality work

* Excellent team worker as well as using own initiative
