Role Responsibilities:

Be the lead point of contact for engagement with partner organisations on technical themes.

Act as the key 'interpreter' of technical security language and support the relationship between Client teams and partner organisations.

Provide specialist technical input to formal cyber learning and development, including contributions to maternal and exercise design and delivery.

Ad-hoc coaching and on-the-job training of Client staff on technologies, techniques and language including the provision of guidance materials.

Maintain and develop contacts and associations with industry and academia t identify evolving technologies and techniques that can be used to inform day to day operations and learning and development interventions.

The Cyber Subject Matter Expert role will directly inform the work of Client teams, as well as building their awareness, knowledge and confidence with malware and other technologies.

This individual will also be responsible for building and maintaining a network of SME's to provide deep expertise to operational planning and delivery, to enable effective cyber defence operations.

The successful candidate will be plugged into cyber community events and manage an extensive network of contact across industry, academia and government.

Skills

* Chartered Engineer.

* Experience with programming languages, Assembly language (x86) or C/C++

* Experience in expeditionary cyber operations.

* Working knowledge of disassembles/ side-compliers/debuggers such as IDAPro and immunity.

* Working knowledge of dynamic/static malware analysis.

* Working knowledge of Windows Operating Systems Internals (Kernel, registry, File Systems, Window APIs)

* Broad industry experience covering cyber security.

* Experience of commercial Digital Forensics and Penetration Testing techniques.
