£35,000 - £40,000 + Training + pension

Excellent opportunity on offer for a Mechanical Design Engineer in an expanding, cutting edge bespoke Design Company, looking to design and build custom machinery.

Are you a mechanical design engineer with experience of 3D design?

Are you a Mechanical design engineer with experience of designing parts, components or sheet metal? Do you have a proven record of designing from concept to completion using a 3D package?

Established over 20 years ago this company design and manufacture specialist machinery for an ever growing industry. They supply their machinery into a global market place and due to continued success, they are looking to bring on a mechanical design engineer to join their team.

In this role you will be designing and developing a range of special purpose machines. You will be working closely with the Engineering manager to bring new ideas to life as well as working with a team on larger developments on brand new technology.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced mechanical design engineer with experience of designing using 3D Solidworks. You will have been involved in the full process of design for manufacture working with bespoke machinery. You will be strong, competent, confident and ambitious person looking to play an important part in the company's future.

The Role:

*Hands-on design of special purpose machines

*working with a team of engineers to create a product

*Working on developments and modifications

*£35,000 - £40,000 + Training + pension

The Person:

*Experience working as a mechanical design engineer

*Experience of using 3D Design packages

*Proven track record working from concept to completion

*Mechanical background

*Driven, determined and ambitious
