Trainee Electrical Engineer - Entry Level Opportunity

Field Based (covering London and the South East) 

£17,000 - £20,000 Plus Mileage Allowance

They are currently looking to recruit a Trainee Electrical Engineer to join their teams across London and the South East.

The successful candidate will be provided with comprehensive training across electrical, data and AV cabling & systems. You will also learn all the practical skills ‘on the job’. 

What’s more, for the right candidate, our client will provide assistance to obtain industry recognised qualifications. 

As a Trainee Electrical Engineer, you will: 

- Assist qualified engineers in installing electrical and data cabling 

- Terminate cables 

- Install hardware including AV equipment such as wall mounted TV’s, interactive whiteboards & projectors 

- Loom electrical and AV racks under supervision 

- Assist other on-site operatives as directed by your Supervisor 

To be considered for this role, you must: 

- Have a clean driving licence and access to your own vehicle 

- Be planning a career within the Electrical, AV or data industry 

- Be customer focused and an excellent communicator 

Conscientious & hardworking, you will also need a great attention to detail, a ‘must do’ attitude and be highly motivated and enthusiastic. Honesty, reliability and commitment are all key. 

The ideal Trainee Electrical Engineer will have experience within the AV and/or electrical engineering field, however this is by no means essential.
