Business Analyst (Insurance)

A great opportunity has arisen for a Business Analyst to join a growing financial services company that specialise within the Insurance market, with a focus on various financial solutions associated with retirement. This company are based in the city of London and are looking to expand their centralised Business Change & Transformation team.

This team is made up of a number of BA's, Lead BA's and 2 BA managers totalling around 25 employees who are responsible for all business and process change across the organisation, with a current focus on regulatory driven projects such as Solvency II.

Due to the business's success, they have recently grown considerably in size, and are therefore looking for two senior business analysts to join their centralised change team. As a Business Analyst you would be responsible for the following;

* Gathering requirements from various internal and external stakeholders and communicating ideas across the business to help implement change.

* Business modelling, identifying root causes of business problems, leading workshops and business personal interviews.

* Work with a variety of stakeholders (such as Actuaries), frequently who have different opinions and look for common ground and have the initiative explore various solutions.

* Translating requirements into sound business plans and using appropriate operating models to implement change in an Agile methodology.

* Facilitating group meetings, workshops and driving strategic change across the business, working closely with the FCA on a number of regulatory projects.

* Having a sound understanding of change management processes and practices to execute analysis and change across the organisation.

* Taking responsibility for the end to end change processes, and for designing the change process and ensuring change is executed in line with the businesses best interests.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Business Analyst with experience in the Insurance, Pension or any highly regulated environment to work within a large well trained and professional change team, where no project will be the same and you can have complete ownership over both small and medium sized projects.
