JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity to join the Company’s BI / Business Intelligence Team for an MI / Data Analyst with experience of working with Databases, writing SQL Queries and Stored Procedures and has Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Working as the MI / Data Analyst you will develop, maintain and interpret Key Reporting and Performance Indicators and manage any reporting that monitors business drivers throughout the organisation. Working closely with the wider business and reporting into the BI / Business Intelligence and Data Manager, the role requires you to maintain the team mailbox as well as progressing ad-hoc MI requirements.

As the MI / Data Analyst you will work within a challenging and innovative role, which will suit someone of an inquisitive and analytical nature who has the desire to improve and support the reporting and analysis currently undertaken.

DUTIES

Your duties and responsibilities as the MI / Data Analyst:

                     Calculate and deliver daily / weekly / monthly Management Information Reports

                     Analyse Management Information Reports/Data Feed requirements and prepare that for Internal/External clients

                     Build any new and ah-hoc Management Information reports as required

                     Support the various relationships with key clients of the organisation

                     Identify new opportunities for developing and refining Management Information that will be beneficial in improving processes for the business

                     Ensure that all processes and procedures are constantly updated for new product and a part of project deliverables

                     Defining and delivering on the Management Information requirements for Finance / Projects and Change / Marketing / Compliance / Sales and Operations Teams

REQUIRED

                     Experience of working with Databases

                     Experience in writing SQL Queries and Stored Procedures

                     Advanced Excel skills

BENEFICIAL

                     Understanding of Insurance platforms and products

                     Experience in Financial reporting and analysis

                     Knowledge and experience of programming languages and development methodologies

                     Knowledge of the insurance sector
