Project Manager

An Asset Manager Software company is seeking an experienced Implementation Project Manager who would be responsible for a number of diverse projects in technology.

Key purpose:

The key purpose of this Project Manager Role is to drive strategic projects to time, budget and within agreed objectives, deliveries and parameters.

Personal Profile:

* Project Manager with strong knowledge surrounding Asset Management software (must have worked for an investment management software company)

* Self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities:

* Scoping and defining strategic projects

* Ongoing management, administration and reporting of projects across all area of IT and the business.

* Drafting required project documentation, including; project initiation documents, project control logs, risk registers, status reports and project plans.

* Chair and manage regular project meetings.

* Manage project resource scheduling, allocation and identification.

* Management of key project stakeholders.

* Keep projects on track to ensure they are delivered to time, budget and to the agreed scope.

* Assist with business analysis activities as identified and required.

* Liaison with third parties as required.

Required experience:

* 5 years plus previous experience within the software financial services sector, preferably within an investment management software company.

* 5 years plus Project Management experience

* Excellent communicator, both written and verbal.

* Ability to work on own initiative, unsupervised, and manage their time effectively.

* Excellent organisational skills.

* Methodical and structured approach to tasks and activities.

* Ability to efficiently and effectively deal with any project related conflicts.

* Delivery focused with ability to prioritise and identify critical IT and business activities.

* Experienced in managing business and technical projects using structured methodologies (Price 2 and Agile).

* Flexible team player within a small, multi-disciplinary team.

* Possesses drive, demonstrable initiative, influencing skills and a strong work ethic.

Location: City of London

Salary: 65k - 90k plus excellent benefits package + generous Bonus
