Assistant Quantity Surveyor

£25,000-£30,000 + Bonus + Pension + Training + Progression + Excellent benefits

Excellent opportunity for a junior Quantity surveyor to join a rapidly expanding organisation, who are offering the chance to future career progression to a Senior QS.

Are you a junior Quantity surveyor? Do you have aspirations of becoming fully qualified whilst learning on the job?

The company specialises in civil engineering and groundwork contracting. They work with a wide range of clients from large developers, contractors, Local authorities to private individuals. Due to the company's expansion and doubling in size in the last 3 years they are looking for a dedicated assistant Quantity surveyor to join their team.

You will be based in the office and working alongside the senior Quantity surveyors. You will be responsible for helping with the commercial management of different portfolio's and assisting with the maximisation of profit. You will be working closely with the procurement team to sort out day to day commercial and contractual issues to ensure valuations are complete.

The ideal candidate will be a junior quantity surveyor who has a Civil or groundworks background. This is an excellent opportunity to progress within a rapidly expanding organisation.

The Role:

* Quantity surveying on Civil and groundwork sites

* Working alongside senior quantity surveyors

* £25,000-£30,000 + Bonus + Pension + Training + Progression + Excellent benefits

The Person:

* Junior Quantity surveyor

* Good with onsite measurement and Strong maths skills

* Looking for progression

* Civil or groundworks experience desirable
