The role:
The successful candidate will work with a number of company stakeholders including: Software Development, Sales, and Marketing teams. Candidates will be required to: research and develop company data as well as bringing new ideas to the business teams and help support company projects. Candidates will be working with advanced techniques to identify the value in large data sets. You will be asked to extract key information from large sets of data.
The candidate will be part of a small team which extracts data from the company CRM system and support the maintenance of one of the company projects.
The role will suit a candidate who enjoys working with data on a daily basis. This could also include analysing data and someone who will support the designing and development of custom algorithms for the company.
Key skills & experience:
*An understanding of the role of a Data Scientist or Data Analyst. Candidates with a Masters Degree or a PHD will also be considered.
*An understanding of knowledge of analysing data using R. This could include Machine Learning or Statistics.
*An understanding of the use of APIs to collect information. This could include via Google and/or Bing
*An understanding of: R, Python or MS SQL would be highly desirable for this role.
