SAS Analyst Birmingham up to £50k plus bonus

SAS/ Finance / Excel / Stakeholder / Analyst /£50000 / Birmingham / West Midlands

My client based in the West Midlands near Birmingham are looking for an experienced SAS analyst to join their team.

The purpose of this role:

*Make sure that all information ( both Customer Management and bonus data) is fit for purpose, timely and accurate

*Manage the implementation of new SAS developments and continuous improvement is maintained.

*Liaise with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders to support the MI reporting and Customer Data management

Key skills:

*SAS programming is essential ( version 9 and above)

*A degree or the equivalent in a MATHS or related subject

*Experience in SAS, Excel, Access, FOXPRO, and MS Visio

*Understanding of the development life cycle

*Strong background in Data Management.

*Excellent stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities:

*Maintenance and support of all SAS data and reporting processes

*Acting as the technical lead for development and take responsibility for quality and adherence to best practice

*Test development changes in a controlled and specified environment

*Embed developments into the BAU cycle

*Manage stakeholders to give provisions of appropriate data and information

*Work with IT to make sure that there are environment and disaster recovery plans

*Experience in Customer MI reporting and Data Principles.
