Business Analyst - Trading Systems

A great opportunity has arisen within a Boutique Investment Bank in London City for an Interest Rate Derivatives focused Front Office Business Analyst. This Front Office Business Analyst will join a team responsible for the bank's Trading Systems, with a specific focus on the Interest Rate Derivatives Desk.

Who You'll Be Working With

This Business Analyst will join a Boutique sized bank with around 250 employees in London (near St. Paul's), who are part of one of the world's largest financial organisations. The Bank has a specialist interest in Capital Markets & Securities, and they provide financial expertise in this area. They have a unique offering, having the security of a large organisation coupled with the autonomy of a smaller company. What You'll Be Doing

This Business Analyst will join the bank's Change & Transformation Team, which is made up of 10-12 Business Analysts and Developers. The Bank itself has a heavy focus on Capital Markets & Securities, and this team looks after all of the trading systems & Trade Desks in this area. As a Front Office IRD focused Business Analyst, you will be required to carry out analysis of Front and Middle office systems and support the securities traders on their day to day activities from a Business Analysis perspective, and you will oversee the full trade lifecycle. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will act as the interface between the front office business/trade personnel and technical teams, and your main focus will be the Interest Rate Derivatives trading platforms.

About You

The ideal Business Analyst will have the following skills/experience:

* Experience working as a Business Analyst in a Bank OR Financial Software Vendor

* Experience working on trading systems

* Excellent knowledge and understanding of Interest Rate Derivatives

* Understanding of the full Trade Lifecycle
