Industry Operations Manager (Energy Industry), West Midlands

Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 + benefits

A growing Energy Company in the West Midlands are currently looking for an Industry Operations Manager (Energy Industry) to join their company on a permanent basis. The successful an Industry Operations Manager (Energy Industry) will play an integral part of the Industry Operations team to help manage the Metering, Industry and Settlement activities and lead a tight knit team to improve, mould and streamline industry processes.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

* Must have a minimum of 3 years working in the Energy Retail Industry (Energy Suppliers)

* Must have experience working in Operations (Gas or Electricity)

* Proficient with MS Office packages, in particular, MS Excel (Pivot tables, vlookups)

* Great people skills and ability to bring out the best in a team environment

* Motivated and driven to help improve business processes and personally develop

* Excellent eye for detail and excellent organisation skills are a must

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

* Project Nexus considered greatly advantageous

* Both Gas and Power Operations expertise would be ideal

* Experience writing Macros on MS Excel, SQL or equivalent

* Experience working on projects and helping drive projects in an Energy business

Day to Day role:

As Industry Operations Manager (Energy Industry) you will play a vital role in leading the Operations team in order to identify beneficial process improvements, remove inefficiencies, improving agent performance, driving forward ideas on projects which will help the company, avoiding metering queries, bringing out the best in the teams and sharing best practice to drive forward the success of the Business. Experience in Metering, Erroneous Transfers, Disputes, Settlements and all other back office operations experience will be considered - the more the merrier!
