HEAD OF QUALITY - £75,000 - NORTH YORKSHIRE

We're looking for a Head of Quality to join a thriving manufacturing company in North Yorkshire. You will be responsibility of ensuring that quality standards and systems are implemented and maintained in compliance with cGMP and various MHRA and FDA licenses.

What will you be doing?

As Head of Quality, you'll be responsible for the management of quality control, quality assurance and validation departments. You will demonstrate natural leadership skills when managing the quality team, problem shooting and thinking laterally, contributing technically to manufacturing and testing issues when necessary. You will develop and maintain quality management strategies and plans. You'll plan and manage departmental activities and resources in accordance with agreed budgets and timescales. Further to this, you will plan and manage departmental activities and oversee a range of risk management activities.

What skills/experience should you have?

* Degree in Chemistry or equivalent/thorough understanding of Quality Control laboratories

* Strong understanding of GMP, MHRA and FDA

* Demonstrable pharmaceutical quality experience (batch record review, audit, change control, complaint handling, investigations experience)

* Experience of hosting MHRA inspections
