Job Title: Database Administrator

Location: Manchester (M30)

Salary: Circa £30,000 per annum

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Job Role:

Experienced Database Analyst is required by a leading Business Solutions company in Greater Manchester. You must have High level of expertise as a DBA in the administration, design and implementation of backups, performance tuning, management, and provisioning of databases.

With experience of working as part of a team, you will:

* Perform development DBA activity, performance tuning and SQL Server management.

* Ensure that storage and archiving procedures are functioning correctly

* Capacity planning

* Extensive knowledge of business intelligence and expert in SQL writing and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)

* Communicate regularly with technical, applications and operational staff to ensure database integrity and security;

Technical Skills

* Knowledge of SQL Server 2008 - 2016

* MYSQL

* SSRS

* Database design and development

Qualifications:

* BS or MS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent

* 3+ years related experience
