Web Developer / Design / HTML / CSS / LESS / JavaScript / Angular 2 / Node js / Express js / handlebars / 1-2 month contract plus possible extensions / Warwickshire

My client is currently recruiting for an experienced Web Developer to design and build a web front end for one of their products. This will be an exciting project using the latest tools and techniques and would be particularly interesting to someone looking to work with chat bots and AI.

Skill Set

Front-end:

*HTML5 & CSS3 / LESS based web design

*Experience with using animation and shading to design cool UIs

*Very good with responsive, cross-browser, mobile based layouts for web apps

*Experience with using libraries like jQuery and Angular 2.0+

*Experience with talking to REST-ful API's using AJAX

*Automated cross-browser testing of designed UI using tools like Karma

Backend:

*Node js

*Express js

*Templating with Jade (pug) and handlebars

Additional information:

*Design and build a web front-end

*The front-end will be a web based popup window that can be embedded inside of other websites or mobile apps

*The app should support IE (latest), Edge, Firefox, Chrome and Safari including mobile versions (if any) of these browsers

*The backend for the app is written in Node.js and express.js so you will ideally have some experience in writing code in Node.js, using Jade and handlebars for templating.

The backend skills aren't essential, they are highly desirable but you will get the chance to learn Node and Express to complete the project
