Outstanding opportunity for an experienced Software Developer to join a global leader in their field. As a Software Developer you will be involved in the development of numerous data focused products, which will include collaboration with other global database teams. This role will require the ability to be "hands on in the role", with large amounts of design and development of both relational and multidimensional databases. The development will have a heavy emphasis upon design and development using SSAS, SQL, MDX, Cubes, & T-SQL, which you will have considerable experience in already. This role will see you spending large quantities of your time designing, implementing, developing, and providing maintenance on SSAS/MDX cubes. Right now is a fantastic time to come on board with them whilst they go through substantial growth.

This role will be ideally suited for a Software Developer with proficient Microsoft SQL stack experience. You will have previous experience from a similar Database Design & Development role. This role would have exposed you to some of the following; SSAS, SQL, multi-dimensional databases, developing & optimising cubes, working with MDX, T-SQL, ETL process, performance tuning, optimisation, writing unit tests.

We believe that a passion for Microsoft SQL Server stack technologies will be a bonus and the Software Developer will have the following experience and skills;

* A clear understanding of the database design principles. E.g. requirement gathering, technical design translation.

* The ability to code in Microsoft SQL Server, utilising tech such as SSAS/ MDX, T-SQL, and SSIS.

* Prior experience of design and development of SSAS cubes.

* Good communication skills, with the ability to work with international teams.

* Possess a desire to be collaborative and succeed under pressure.

* Ability to code in application development using codes like C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server Tabular, ideally for an agile environment.

This position has a starting salary, which is dependant on experience of £65K-£70K + Bonus & Benefits. Send your CV for immediate consideration.
