Senior Web Developer

The Opportunity:

HPKonnect are current recruiting for a Senior Web Designer to join the design department of a well established and successful online organisation based in Limerick.

The Community:

The senior web designer would be joining a talented team and working on the creation of a number of exciting and effective websites for a number of the companys clients. This will be an online booking platform.

Responsibilities

- To design, develop and maintain a number of responsive web sites incorporating innovative solutions

- The styling and building of Content Management websites

- To optimise the photography for the websites

- To be able to work on responsive web design , creating design solutions for both mobile and tablet etc

- To have a full knowledge of UX for mobile, tablet and desktop web applications

- Able to work independently to achieve team goals and reach deadlines

- To be client facing as and when required

- Reporting in regular to the project manager

- To be involved in the testing of all designs, codes and scripts on multiple browsers and devices

- Support other departments as and when necessary

- Be able to solve problems and come up with solutions

Skills:

- Qualification in web design

- 3-5 years experience within a web design role

- Strong design portfolio showcasing digital work

- Strong expertise with html / css

- Excellent IT skills, especially with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop / Dreamweaver / Illustrator / HTML / Web Design/ PHP).

- Able to work in a fast paced environment

- Able to Produce professional documentation for internal company use and for clients

- Passionate about producing high quality websites

- Getting involved with the team and bringing innovative ideas and designs to the table

- Strong organisational skills

- Able to priortise workloads

- Strong attention to detail

- Proficient in writing and speaking in English
