Application Support Engineer SQL / Oracle - Scientific

Application Support Engineer / IT Support (SQL Oracle .Net). Award winning software house is seeking a naturally bright, enthusiastic Application Support Engineer to provide technical support to clients on a complex software product that aids in the discovery of solutions for the Life Sciences and pharmaceuticals industry.

As an Application Support Engineer your role will also include onsite customer installations, upgrades and demos in a pre-sales capacity. Fantastic opportunity to be mentored by an exceptional team of individuals in a scientific, technology driven environment.

Requirements:

*Application Support experience

*Good SQL and Oracle skills, ability to script

*Excellent communication skills, able to build client relationships

*2.1 or above at degree level, Computer Science or closely related technical or scientific discipline

*Desirable: familiarity with sample management operations/systems or other relevant life science/bio-pharmaceutical industry
