Senior Account Director (Retail, Sitecore, Digital)

The Company

You will be working for a leading digital agency positioned in the Top 10 agencies in the UK listed by Drum. They have recently joined forces with another Australian digital agency leading to them inheriting a large scale transformation project with a global retailer. The company employs around 2,000 employees around the world offering service in Business Transformation and Commerce, Design, Data Science and innovation and experience design. As Senior Account Director you will be working on behalf of a leading agency constantly acknowledged for their innovation and community.

The Job

As Senior Account Director you will be leading an entirely greenfield project, there is absolutely nothing in the project pipeline. You are first on the ground and first to lay hand on this project. You will be working on a global digital transformation and re-branding following the merger of two of the largest retailers in Australia. Working between client site in Milton Keynes and the head office in London you will be initially building relations with the stakeholders to plan and build the entire project pipeline.

This is not a normal Senior Account Director, you need to be someone who can make things happen and are motivated to keep pushing as for the first 6 months you will be liaising with teams in India, Bali and Australia before building your own delivery team in the UK. Your role will involve a full web and platform re-brand from beginning to end and you will be liaising with stakeholders and teams in Australia to help manage this project alongside driving new business opportunities. There is also a huge amount of flexibility surrounding hours regarding scheduling calls and meetings with the overseas offices so no need to work all day and night.

Ideal Candidate

You are a Senior Account Director with large scale enterprise experience working in a Digital Agency environment. You will have flexibility to working cross time zones to fit into the Australian schedules along with spending 50% of your time on client site in Milton Keynes and 50% in London. In an ideal world you will have experience of working with Sitecore but any Enterprise CMS experience is absolutely necessary. You will be passionate, strong willed and experienced in getting things done and always driving things forward. This is not an easy position as it is not your normal role, you will have no direct reports for the first 6-12 months and will be required to work autonomously with multiple stakeholders on the other side of the world.

Salary & Benefits

The salary on offer is £60,000 - £70,000 + benefits including 25 days holiday, income protection, annual bonus and pension. There will be travel to Melbourne initially which will of course be expensed along with your travel between Milton Keynes and London. This is a growing role and you are building your own business within a business to run this transformation. With this come huge areas of growth both on a career level and benefits level.
