Business Analyst-London, £65,000

We are currently recruiting for a Business Analyst to join a leading provider of publishing solutions. They are looking for a highly skilled, enthusiastic and imaginative BA to join their team as they drive forward digital change within the business.

You will be working for a team investigating how to improve the delivery of research publications to the academic and public domain. You will be joining the team at R&D stage and therefore have real influence over future technology decisions in a global business.

Responsibilities of the Business Analyst:

* Work closely with stakeholders to Identify business need.

* Collaborate with team members to write clear and concise user stories that can be used to drive development.

* Ensure development teams understand the vision of product plans and can successfully translate these into usable products.

* Identify root cause issues of products and understand where these can be fixed or improved.

* Provide functional consultancy, running workshops to gather requirements or 1-1's when businesses require.

Skill Set Required of Business Analyst:

* Proven experience of working in a publishing or digital environment delivering business change or software products.

* Excellent ability to gain stakeholder buy-in for product plans.

* Strong management skills, to manage stakeholder expectations.

* Excellent analytical skills to understand industry trends.

* Strong technical skills able to understand a product from a business point of view or technical.

* Excellent communication skills, able to communicate ideas successfully and understand business needs.

* Experience working in an Agile environment would be beneficial.

The Business Analyst role is based in London.

The Business Analyst role will pay a salary in the region of £55,000-£65,000 depending on experience.
