IT Systems Administrator - 3 months, possible ext - Edinburgh £300 - £400 per day (inside IR35)

The Company

Spring Technology's public sector client is currently looking to hire an IT Systems Administrator to join an already high performing team.

The Role:

IT Systems Administrator

We are looking to recruit a experienced Systems Administrator to investigate, architect and implement a Next Generation Firewall solution based on FortiGate Explicit web proxies, FortiMail and FortiCache fro WAN Optimisation and FortiGate single-sign on for user authentications.

Essential Experience

*Experience managing Web and Mail Proxy technologies (Clearswift)

*Support and administer Firewall technologies

*Experience handling Network protocols such as TCP/IP including Intrusion Prevention Systems and Denial-of-service attacks

*Experience of working in a 3rd line support environment managing server hardware and Windows server.

*Administering Windows 2012 Servers

*Microsoft AD administration

Technical Experience

*Cisco and Fortinet

*FortiGate, FortiMail and FortiCache

*Clearswift

Personal Attributes

*Strong planning and organisational skills

*Solution focussed and enjoy problem solving

*Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels

*Very effective time management skills
