For our client located in Dusseldorf we are currently looking for a IT Process Consultant PLM on a permanent basis.

Location: Düsseldorf, Germany

Contract type: full time, permanent

Travel: up to 10 percent

Background

As a member of the EPL Master DataTeam, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing global processes related to strategic and operational PLM (Product Life-Cycle Management) and MDM (Master Data Management). A clear focus is the integration of PLM/ MDM concepts and processes within Marketing, R&D and Supply Chain processes. You will drive innovation and business process optimization in order to improve business capabilities and thereby business results.

Tasks

* Defining and implementing best practices for PLM (as it is used in Process Industries) and MDM processes and solutions across the corporate and global process categories for all our businesses (Adhesives, Cosmetics and Detergents)

* Pro-actively managing and consulting global best practices with the assigned process categories of PLM/ MDM solutions for all businesses and deciding on adaptations to our process templates according to change requests raised by our user community

* Fostering synergies across the businesses (industrial and retail) by providing cross-divisional process standards and solution standards

* Ensuring that corporate and global processes of PLM and MDM will follow the agreed standards and that changes are measured and evaluated against their contribution to business benefit

* Leading the blueprints of projects and acting as the project manager, introducing pilots of new solutions

Qualifications

- Expert knowledge in the area of PLM and / or MDM

- Excellent university degree in electronic engineering, economics, economical informatics or economical engineering

- At least 5 years of experience as a business consultant or process expert in the area of PLM and / or MDM in an international environment or alternatively,

- at least 5 years of experience as project manager in international IT projects and willing to become an expert in PLM and / or MDM

- Specific experience in SAP Master Data together with the deep knowledge of SAP customizing and architecture is the must

- Experience with EH and S, RM and RD will be highly appreciated

- Excellent English language skills and a good understanding of the German language

- Exceptional initiative and decisiveness and strong analytical thinking

- Effective communication and persuasion skills

- Desire to work in a dynamic and challenging environment
