Service Project ManagerA Service Project Manager is required to join a high-tech engineering company who produce a range of customized capital equipment. You will manage the full Service lifecycle of testing, installation and on-going support of these products.
As a Service Project Manager you will be responsible for managing several project installations which typically last 2-6 months and then continuing to manage service project lasting up to 10 years. Some of your day to day tasks will include the management of risks and issues through the project as well as managing the timing plan and any change requests.
On top of this you will be responsible for identifying and document customer requirements, coordinating with the design team to check the suitability of the solution and subsequently submitting Service quotations based on the identified solution.
Service Project Manager Requirements:
Degree in a relevant engineering degree.Good working experience of stage/gate project methodology (e.g. APM, Prince2)Excellent ability with Microsoft Office package to include MS Project.Awareness of quality systems.
Desirables:
Previous experience in a service based role.Experience in the design of industrial machinery.
