£35,000 + Training + Progression

Are you a Maintenance Engineer looking to be part of a newly opened site for one of Europe's premier building materials manufacturers?

This is a great role for a Maintenance Engineer who wants to be a founding member of a brand new site, have the longer term opportunity to be 2nd in command to the Maintenance Manager and receive excellent training on both electrical and mechanical equipment

The company are multi-national building materials manufacturer and are opening a new site in the area. The company are initially putting together a small team for the engineering department, but as productivity and output grows they will expand their headcount at this site. A lot of the equipment is chemical related and a chemical background would be advantageous

The role involves PPM and Reactive maintenance for both electrical and mechanical onsite equipment. This is a day's best Monday to Friday role where you work as part of initially a two person maintenance team working with the hands on Maintenance Manager. There will be an initial training period off site at another plant during the construction of the factory, which will take a couple of months. Therefore be prepared to be paid to be staying away from home for a week at time initially
