Release & Environment Manager

Market Rate (Initial 6 months)

We are looking for a Release & Environment Manager for a prestigious retailer based in London.

The ideal Release & Environment Manager, will have extensive experience release and environments (preferably in retail). You will need to have appreciation of infrastructure architecture and application integration. The main integration they are doing is around Oracle Retail, so any experience with this would be highly advantageous.

Experience

*Strong prior experience working in Release, Deployment and Environment areas

*Strong technical experience working with integrated applications

*Strong infrastructure experience, including connectivity, firewalls and access areas

*Good understanding of Multi-Channel E-Commerce platforms

*Good experience of working with Oracle Retail Suite would be beneficial

*Good experience of working with core retail systems

*Good understanding of ITIL framework and Project Management methodologies

Technical Skills

*Strong technical understanding of E-commerce infrastructure topologies

*Strong understanding of deployment and monitoring tools

*Strong experience of working with end to end Multi-channel systems

Personal Attributes/ Behavioural Skills

*Experience of operating with a high level of autonomy, while still working as part of a team

*Excellent planning and organisational skills

*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

*Ability to influence best practices and governance for Test Environments and Release / Deployment

*Customer focused and goal orientated with keen attention to detail

*Ability to manage input from others to ensure delivery to agreed timescales

*Strong sense of ownership and ability to follow tasks through to completion

*Ability to work as part of an effective and highly skilled team
