This is a crucial role in a innovative, data-driven environment, the ideal Data Scientist will be joining a established company who wants to grow the entire Data Science department. They work on applying predictive technology to a wide spectrum of problems. They are looking for experienced Machine Learning Scientists who can apply innovative Machine Learning techniques. No day is the ever the same.

-Demonstrate the ability to analyse, design, develop and implement solutions that increase customer value and embrace simplicity, speed, adaptability, and sustainability

- Analysing large data sets to understand business data to help automate and enhance key processes

- Strong background in statistical analysis; deploying models on large data sets

- Demonstrate strong understanding of agile delivery

- Research and implement novel machine learning and statistical approaches

- Develop code with R, SAS or similar

-Perform queries, aggregations, joins, and transformations using Spark, Hive, and Pig

- Strong ability to interact with internal employees and product owners to analyse a problem and clearly articulate a solution and plan.

Act as a mentor of the business by partnering with teams to determine current and on-going needs, and gaining further knowledge into their processes.

Proficient in product development, R, SAS, Python, SQL, MapReduce, Hive, Pig, and Spark
