Experienced Web Designer

As a Web Designer, you will be expected to evolve and develop new technologies and push the boundaries of web design. With strong graphic skills and coding experience, have experience in designing websites, creating intuitive user experiences and working closely with developers to bring it all to life. You will be helping to develop front end technologies that work seamlessly with their new core.

Based in Mansfield just to the north of Nottingham you will be joining a professional web agency that utilise the latest technologies to build and service professional, real world marketing and web solutions.

Responsibilities

- Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to build and testing

- Develop original website design ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness

- Create wireframes, storyboards, user and process flows

- Present and defend designs and concepts

- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards

Requirements

- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools

- Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio

- Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps

- Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript

- Experience working in an Agile development process

- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user interaction

- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively

- Up-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques and technologies
