A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Junior/Mid-level IT Project Manager to join a boutique Investment Bank near St. Paul's in London.

About the Job

This IT Project Manager Job is a newly created opportunity to be the company's first dedicated IT Project Manager. As the bank's first IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving projects across technology, covering mostly infrastructure, with some exposure to software projects also. You'll typically juggle multiple small/medium sized projects at a time, each with a value of up to £250,000.

This IT Project Manager Job provides you with an excellent opportunity to come in to a growing company and really make an impression. As an IT Project Manager you will have a wide variety of responsibilities such as:

* Working closely with multiple stakeholders from the business and IT and partaking in the change advisory board

* Business continuity planning

* Budget planning / cost control / managing relationships with 3rd party vendors

* Working across the full project lifecycle

* Getting involved in some ad hoc hands on work whenever required

About You

The successful candidate will ideally hail from a similar sized reputable company, but you don't necessarily have to have worked in the banking sector. Ideally, you will have prior experience working in a hands on technical role (e.g. Infrastructure Engineer) with a few years' experience working in a Project Management capacity. Personality fit is key - ideally you won't shy away from some hands on work and you should be enthusiastic and keen to make a difference.
